Introduction
On Android the kill switch is both a Settings toggle and a chip on the home screen. When it is on, the phone blocks traffic if the VPN drops instead of falling back to your mobile or Wi-Fi IP.

Turn it on
- Open the Android app.
- Either tap the Kill switch chip on the home screen, or go to Settings and enable Kill switch — Block all traffic if the VPN drops.
- Leave Auto-reconnect on (Settings > PROTECTION) so the app brings the tunnel back without you unlocking the phone.
With the kill switch on, turning the VPN off will also pause general internet until you disable the switch or connect again. That is expected. Use Allow local network if you still need printers or Chromecast at home.
