Introduction
Use this when you need the 16-digit account number for an account you have already paid for. This page recovers that number only. It does not show a VPN username or VPN password.
Open Recover account, or choose Recover? on the login page.
Where to find a PayPal transaction ID
- Sign in at paypal.com and open Activity.
- Select the payment to VPN Safe.
- The Transaction ID is on that payment. It is a block of letters and numbers, for example
51D53205GC879694C.
You can also open the PayPal receipt email for that payment. The transaction ID is in the email. Either PayPal ID for the same payment is accepted.
Where to find the card details
Use only the last 4 digits of the card and the date the payment succeeded. Do not enter the full card number.
- Last 4 digits — on your bank or card statement next to the VPN Safe charge, or in the card app under that transaction.
- Payment date — the date of that successful charge. A date within two days of the payment also matches.
Where to find the crypto details
On the payment page you were shown a deposit address. That is the address you sent the crypto to. Paste that address, or paste the transaction hash from your wallet.
- In your wallet, open the sent payment and copy Transaction ID, TxID, or Hash.
- You only need one of them: the deposit address or the transaction hash.
After a match
The 16-digit account number is shown on a green background. Use Copy or Download and keep a copy of the account ID. Download saves a text file named vpnsafe-account-number.txt.
Sign in at secure.vpnsafe.net/login.php with that number. You can type it with or without spaces. No password is required for a 16-digit sign-in.
If it does not match
Check that the PayPal ID, card details, or crypto address belong to a completed payment for this account, then try again. If you still need help, email [email protected].
